ABOUT HAPPY LITTLE PEOPLE AFTER SCHOOL CARE |

Happy Little People was set up in March 2014 and opened in September 2014. Christina Gray owns the company.
STAFF
The manager Katie Howarth holds a SVQ3 Social Services (Children and Young People) And is support by Kerri Anne, who currently holds a BA Childhood Practice. Kerrie Anne is also part of the management group at T.A.S.C who operate a holiday service that users from Happy Little People are welcome to access. Details of this can be found on www.tascafterschoolcare.org.uk
REGISTRATION
The service is registered for 90 children. Primarily the service is for the children attending Westerton Primary School, however if requested the service may be able to accommodate children outwith this school. The service will operate term time only. Service users can register for the After School Care, Breakfast Club or both.
TRAINING
A wide range of training courses is routinely made available to all staff. These include First Aid and REHIS Food & Hygiene, REHIS Infection Control, SVQ’s and equivalents.

COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS
Close links with the community is important to our company. By maintaining these links we are more equipped to predict future trends in employment and as a result are better prepared to manage changes in demand for our service.
CHILDCARE FORUM
Happy Little People is represented at the Local Childcare Forum. It is the intention of the service to develop strong community links to support and inclusive service that has an awareness of the needs of the stakeholders. The service will work alongside the school to promote partnership working for better outcomes for the users. |
